As of 2026/2027 the Season will remain as Keeper League but scoring will go to Head-to-Head – One Win. A matchup of Team A with 5 category wins to Team B's 4 category wins nets Team A 1 win for that matchup. ICommissioner Information & Governing AThe commissioner is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the league and to maintain league health. This includes mediating all disputes. In the event a dispute impacts their own team, it will be decided by league vote (excluding all parties involved in the dispute). BGOLDEN RULE: If a league member has an issue with an action another league member has taken, then please take up the issue privately with the commissioner(s) BEFORE confronting the other member publicly. Often these actions are within the rules, so discussing it with the commissioner(s) first can avoid some unnecessary witch hunting or confusion. CRule changes will take place in the offseason. A proposed rule change can be submitted by any member. All changes must achieve a 51% majority (7/12 members) vote to pass. Rules will be implemented the following season unless otherwise specified. IILeague Members AThe Load Management League will consist of 12 league members BIn the event a team drops out mid-season or too late to find a replacement owner, the commissioner will set the team’s lineup until a new owner is found based on highest projected points CAll interested members from the previous season have the right to retain their franchise. They cannot switch ownership to a different team under any circumstance. DReplacements will be found on a first-come-first-serve basis. Recommendations will be gathered from fellow owners. Credentials of the potential owner (experience level, how long the person has been playing fantasy, etc) will be submitted to the league. The league will then vote on whether or not to add the potential new owner. 51% majority (7/12 members) majority vote is needed to approve. EIn the event an outgoing team manager leaves the league, any in-season game results and prizes (e.g. $2 off a keeper) obtained by that manager are relinquished and will not be handed over to the incoming team manager. FThe incoming team manager will inherit the team, the keeper status, and the playoff rank of the outgoing team manager. IIIBuy-In AThere will be a $25 AUD buy-in for each season. Payouts at the conclusion of the season will be % based on the total pot as follows: 1st 65% 2nd 25% 3rd 10% BThe 3rd place position is determined by the Team that meets the following criteria: 1Made it Round 2 of the playoffs (4 teams) 2Did not progress to the Finals (2 teams) 3Has the higher Season Standing (1 team) IVRoster Information AEach team will have a total of 16 players, 10 starting positions and 3 bench players, and 3 IL slots available for players, BMax Active (Starter) slots: 3 Guards 3 Forwards 2 Centers 2 Utility players (a Utility roster spot that can be filled by a player with any position) VSalaries AThe Load Management league is a salary league based on the default Yahoo Salary ranks BEach team will have a cap that is a 5% increase of the following year. The near future salary caps are: 1$200 - 2022/23 2$210 - 2023/24 3$221 - 2024/25 4$232 - 2025/26 5$243 - 2026/27 6$256 - 2027/28 7$269 - 2028/29 8$282 - 2029/30 CLeague settings are in place to prevent teams from going above the cap. DThe bottom 4 teams will have an additional $ typically ~5% more than everyone else. VIKeeper rules AAs a team manager you can nominate 5 players (“keepers”) to retain in your roster for the following season. BYou can hold a keeper player for a maximum of 3 years, at which point the player will be released back onto the waiver wire and will be available for all to bid on. Essentially, a player can't stay off the draft pool for more than three years. CFor each year you hold onto a keeper, you will increase the draft value of that player by $5, DA player's keeper value and contract years stay with the player for the rest of the season, whether he is traded, dropped or picked up. Whoever holds him at the end of the season can keep him at his current value plus $5, and the years held count toward the 3-year maximum. Example: a player bought for $3 at the auction, dropped mid-season and picked up by another team can be kept by that team for $8. A player who has completed 3 years cannot be kept, even if he was dropped and picked up again. EA player who goes undrafted at the auction and is picked up during the season can be kept for $5. That keep is year 1. FA contract ends when the season ends and the player is not kept. If that player is picked up the following season, the old contract is cancelled and clause VI.E applies. VIIPre-draft trading APre-trades are allowed. Team managers may trade keepers in the offseason, before the draft. BWhen a keeper is traded, the player's keeper value and contract year carry through to the receiving team. The trade does not reset either. CThe receiving team's dollar value for that keeper will still be incremented by the agreed-upon contract year amount ($5 per year held, per the Keeper rules). DThe years held count toward the 3-year maximum regardless of which team holds the player. EBudget floor: a pre-trade will only be approved if the receiving team can still afford a full roster. The incoming season's max cap amount, minus the team's total keeper salaries plus $5 per contract year held (or whatever the agreed amount is), must leave at least $1 per player for each non-keeper roster slot. Example: with a 16 player roster and 5 keepers, at least $11 must remain under the cap after all keeper salaries and increments are applied. Any trade that would breach this floor is void and the players will be returned to their original rosters VIIIScoring AHead-to-Head 9-categories. Each category nets a win, loss, tie for the week. BScoring categories are: 1Points, Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks, 3-Pointers Made, Field Goal %, Free Throw %, TOs CScoring categories are subject to change during the off season, pending a 51% majority (7/12 members) approval IXStartup draft AThe initial start up draft is 13 rounds. BTeam managers who cannot attend the draft will have AutoDraft act on their behalf. XWaivers/Free Agency AAll players that go undrafted can be added to your team pending the Acquisition and Waiver Wire status of that team, at that time, XITrading AUnless there is absolute, undeniable collusion all teams will be allowed to trade freely. BA successful trade grants each team a $1 draft bonus XIISchedule AThe Load Management regular season will run from the first day of the regular season to three weeks before the end of the regular season, typically toward the end of March XIIIPlayoffs AThe top 8 teams will make the playoffs. BThe tie breaker order for seeding will be H2H record. In the event a matchup ends in a tie during the playoffs, the tie-breaker will go to the higher seeded team. XIVNon startup draft AAll drafts beyond the startup draft will take place at a date specified by the commissioner, BEach team’s acquisitions will be subject to their available salary cap XVTank ranking ATBC INCENTIVES TO KEEP POOR PERFORMING TEAMS TO COMPETE IN UPCOMING SEASONS BThe teams with the four worst records in the league will be entered into the draft lottery with equal odds. This will discourage outright tanking while still allowing the bottom teams a chance to rebuild with a premier rookie, or best available player come draft time. CPicks 1-4 = Determined by lotto, the simulation of this will be run by the commissioner with at least 2 team managers as witness, XVIIntegrity AEach team must play competitively with the best interests of their team in mind in order to stay in this league. If collusion is suspected or a team owner displays trading/free agency trends that are detrimental to the league, the commish reserves the right to replace the owner if the trend continues after a warning. BPlease don’t roster dump. Players will be returned to your roster and the commissioner will discuss, wth you, what your options are instead CPlease don’t collude on trades. Players will be returned to your rosters and the commissioner will discuss, with all respective team managers, what your options are instead Schedules S1Rollover instructions Check forced drops — after the keeper deadline, before the draft. Open the Keeper Tracker and review “Players Must Be Dropped”. On Yahoo’s Confirm Keepers page, check every team and confirm that none of those players are selected as keepers. In all Yahoo links in these instructions, replace 15005 with the current season’s league ID. Hopefully, the new season’s league ID will be known by this point. First, assign keepers and set their draft costs. Open Yahoo’s Assign Salary Cap Keeper Players page. In By Team, select the team that matches the name and owner on the BlatBlat roster page, for example Jason’s team. Assign only the confirmed keepers to that team and its draft positions. Enter each keeper’s Keep for value from that team’s BlatBlat roster section, applying any approved discount assigned to the keeper. The annual increase (currently $5 under the constitution) is already included; do not add it again. Check the Salary fields, which can default to $0, then click Save Progress. These costs are deducted from the team’s draft budget. Open full screenshot ↗01.jpg — 2026–27 example, Yahoo league 15005. Luka Dončić, Jayson Tatum and Tyrese Maxey have $0 assignment salaries despite existing keeper prices. Use this to recognise the reset fields; use the current roster for actual costs. Then, repeat the same final costs in the keeper salary records. Open Yahoo’s Keeper Salaries page. In Use custom salaries mode, enter the same final amounts saved in step 2, including the same approved discounts, and click Save changes. Copy the amounts exactly; do not apply another annual increase. The BlatBlat Keeper salaries view provides a similar flat table with an added Team column. It uses confirmed upcoming selections when available, otherwise saved status from the last completed season; the source season is labelled. Check the list against Yahoo’s confirmed selections before entering costs. Open full screenshot ↗02.jpg — 2026–27 example, Yahoo league 15005. Keeper Salaries in custom salary mode, with blank fields and some previous salary values. These example amounts are historical context; repeat the final amounts from step 2. Why both pages? Yahoo maintains two separate systems: Assign Salary Cap Keeper Players controls the actual costs charged against draft budgets; Keeper Salaries is an informational salary ledger used on team rosters, in trades and in the keeper declaration tool during the season. In custom salary mode, updating one does not populate the other. Both must be updated so the season’s displayed keeper salaries agree with the costs used in the draft. Repeating a cost in this ledger does not deduct it from the draft budget a second time. See Yahoo’s keeper tools guide for the distinction between draft assignments and displayed salaries. Whenever a salary changes: This includes an in-game deduction or any later correction. Update the same final salary on both Assign Salary Cap Keeper Players and Keeper Salaries, then save each page. Replace 15005 with the current league ID. Changing only one page leaves draft charges and displayed salaries inconsistent. Refresh BlatBlat afterward to read the salary Yahoo exposes through its API. Record the player and deduction amount here as In-game deduction; the game name is not required. Apply the deduction once to the salary, then copy that final amount to both pages. Do not deduct it from the team’s starting budget. Optional entry helper: Log in to BlatBlat. In the Keeper salaries view, expand the bookmarklet instructions and drag Fill keeper salaries to your bookmarks bar. Run it on Yahoo’s Keeper Salaries page in custom salary mode. Its top-right panel loads fresh BlatBlat roster prices and offers Next player, Next 10 and All remaining. It matches Yahoo’s current input fields by player ID or name, previews batches, and never saves the form. The same bookmark can be reused in future seasons because it reads current BlatBlat data and the league ID from Yahoo’s URL. Apply approved keeper-prize discounts after filling, check that both Yahoo pages match, and click Save changes yourself. Set team draft budgets separately, before the draft. Open Yahoo’s Salary Cap Draft Settings. On Teams, use the Teams / Team salary cap button group to open Team salary cap. Use this compact table as the reference. It shows the current season, the constitution base cap, each team’s bottom-of-table and trade additions, and its full Starting budget. These are the same budgets shown above each team’s table on the BlatBlat roster page. Set Team Budget to the base cap for that season, tick Use custom budgets, then enter each team’s Starting budget. For the 2026–27 example, the base is $243; the bottom-four bonus is $12 and each completed trade adds $1 per side. Use the current season’s displayed values next year. Starting budgets include constitution additions before deducting keeper salaries. Yahoo calculates Available Budget = Starting Budget − assigned Keeper Salaries. Do not enter the remaining budget as the starting budget. Keeper-prize discounts reduce the relevant player’s salary; they do not increase starting budgets. Optional budget helper: In the Team salary cap view, drag Fill team budgets to your bookmarks bar. Log in to BlatBlat to see the bookmarklet controls. Run the bookmark in Yahoo; if Use custom budgets is unchecked, the helper prompts you to enable it. The helper sets Team Budget to the current season’s base cap before filling the selected team rows. Its top-right panel loads fresh BlatBlat budgets and offers Next team, Next 10 and All remaining. It matches current team names and budget fields instead of the changing yui_… IDs, fills only starting budgets, and never submits the form. Check the available balances against the actual keeper salaries in Yahoo, then submit yourself. The BlatBlat available-budget figures are estimates before keeper-prize discounts; the Yahoo figures are authoritative. Open full screenshot ↗03.jpg — 2026–27 example, Yahoo league 15005. Salary Cap Draft Settings with Use custom budgets selected and all starting budgets still at Yahoo’s $200 default. Replace that default with the season’s constitution base cap and each team’s full adjusted starting budget. The screenshot’s keeper totals and available balances are historical examples. Open full screenshot ↗04.jpg — 2026–27 configured example, Yahoo league 15005. Team Budget is $243, Use custom budgets is checked, and each team has its adjusted starting budget. This is the compact team-budget layout referenced by the Teams salary-cap view. The shown keeper salaries and balances are example values; use the current season’s data. Check every team before the draft. Confirm that both keeper-cost pages contain the same final amounts, with no unintended $0 values. Review Budget Overview on the assignment page: starting budget minus assigned keeper salaries gives the remaining draft budget. Do not subtract keeper salaries again when entering the starting budget. Earlier visual references Keep these older Yahoo examples for recognising the commissioner tools.
